The DataGOL AI agents empowers business users and engineers to efficiently analyze and visualize data through a suite of specialized AI agents. These agents act as intelligent assistants, guiding users through the data exploration process and accelerating insights.

DataGOL provides the following AI agents, each designed for specific tasks:

  • AI Search agent Agent: The AI Search agent helps you find information from all the connected data sources using simple questions. It's a single tool that searches across different platforms for you.

  • BI (Chart) Agent: Specializes in generating insightful visualizations from your data, including bar charts, pie charts, line graphs, and more.

  • Data Cleaning (DC) Agent: Designed to clean and organize data within a workbook

  • Data Conversation (DC) Agent: The default agent, excels at answering questions about your data using SQL queries. Ideal for filtering, sorting, grouping, and performing calculations on structured data.

  • HubSpot agent:The HubSpot agent is an AI tool that works within the HubSpot platform. It uses natural language to perform tasks and retrieve information from your CRM, helping you streamline your work.

  • Jira agent:The Jira agent is an AI tool that lets you interact with your Jira projects using natural language. It helps you retrieve information and take action by simply giving it commands in plain English.

  • Python agent: Enables advanced analysis by generating and executing Python scripts. The descriptions offer greater detail, providing comprehensive insights into data. Additionally, the agent maintains conversation history, enabling contextual awareness across multiple messages within a thread. This allows for nuanced, iterative interactions where the agent builds upon previous questions and responses, resulting in a more intuitive and productive user experience.

  • RAG agent: Designed to handle unstructured data like PDFs, pptx, docx, text files, images, and videos, allowing users to ask questions and extract information from these sources.

  • SQL agent: Generates, optimizes, and debugs SQL queries using natural language prompts. Maximum of five data sources can be used for query execution.

    • Query Generation: You can input natural language descriptions for your desired SQL queries.
    • Query Optimization: Use the Optimize Query function to refine complex queries for improved efficiency.
    • Query Debugging: Use the Debug Query function to identify and correct errors in generated or existing queries.

DataGOL AI Agent assitance​

DataGOL agents intelligently assist in multiple ways:

  • Agent routing: Routes the user requests to the most appropriate agent based on keywords and the nature of the query.
  • Transparency and control: Provides transparency by displaying the underlying code (SQL or Python) used to generate results. Users can also access code in a playground environment for further experimentation.
  • Interactive feedback: Users can provide feedback on agent responses, helping to improve accuracy and performance over time.
  • Conversation starters: Pre-defined questions and prompts help users quickly get started with data exploration.
  • Data security: Data analysis is performed locally on the user's server, ensuring data privacy and security.
  • Query cancellation: Ability for users to cancel long-running queries.
  • Progress indicators: Visual cues to indicate the query is in progress.

Key user considerations​

  • Agents on structured data: When working with agents, keep in mind that their responses will be tailored to the specific workbook you currently have selected. This allows for more focused and relevant interactions based on your active dataset.
  • Agent selection: While the default agent has some auto routing, it is best to choose the agent that best fits the desired output.
  • Data relevance: The agents are designed to work within the context of the loaded dataset.
  • Feedback: User feedback is crucial for improving the agents.
