Adding TikTok Marketing as data source

Do the following to add TikTok Marketing as data source:

  1. From the left navigation panel, click Lakehouse and then click Data Sources.
  2. From the upper right corner of the page, click the + New Data Source button to start the process of adding a new database.
  3. In the New Data Source page, click the TikTok Marketing icon.
  4. Specify the following details to add TikTok Marketing. Once you have connected a data source, the system immediately fetches its schema. After this schema retrieval process is complete you can browse and interact with the tables and data.

Connection NameEnter a unique name for the connection.
Access TokenEnter your TikTok Marketing API Access Token. This is required for authentication.
App IDSpecify the App ID of your TikTok for Business developer application.
Secret KeySpecify the Secret Key associated with your TikTok App ID.
Include Deleted DataA boolean flag to determine whether deleted ads, ad groups, and campaigns should be included in your reports and streams.
Start DateEnter the date in the YYYY-MM-DD format. DataGOL will replicate the data updated on and after this date. If blank, the sync will default to the earliest available data.
  1. Click Submit.

Supported sync modes

  • Full Refresh - Overwrite
  • Full Refresh - Append
  • Incremental - Append

Supported streams

Regular Streams

  • Advertiser IDs: List of advertisers associated with the account.
  • Ad Accounts: Details of the ad accounts.
  • Campaigns: Details of marketing campaigns.
  • Ad Groups: Details of ad groups within campaigns.
  • Ads: Individual advertisement details.
  • Creatives: Creative assets used in ads.
  • Audiences: Information on custom and saved audiences.

Report Streams (Incremental)

  • Advertiser Reports: Performance data aggregated at the advertiser level.
  • Campaign Reports: Performance data aggregated at the campaign level.
  • Ad Group Reports: Performance data aggregated at the ad group level.
  • Ad Reports: Performance data aggregated at the ad level.
